And now it’s sing song time! © Slim Chin. In all seriousness though, J. Cole has got himself one helluva team.

Elite – Judas (Video)

From Byram, Connecticut, the 27-year-old artist has worked as an in-house producer for Ruff Ryders — producing tracks for many of the label’s top artists (DMX, Drag-On, Jadakiss, Styles P). His work during that period can be found on his recent effort The Groundwork. Lately, he’s been working closely with Roc Nation’s J.Cole (co-producing “Who Dat” and “See World”), and promptly sets off his solo path with “Judas,” where he explores his constantly bickering creative psyche, and applies the song as a testament to reassure his talents as an artist.

Elite offers a glimpse into his world as an artist. “Judas” from Elite’s upcoming mixtape, is an exploration of the creative psyche. Working his way through the industry over the last ten years, “Judas” serves as an introduction to Elite’s story.

Voli – Tripwire x Heartache Freestyle

The name might not be recognizable, but the sound definitely is; as Voli has been working in the same circle as J. Cole, Omen and Elite for the past 10 years. This Wednesday he’s dropping off a sampler to his Glass Doors project; which will feature production from the entire crew. Here goes a few joints to help prepare y’all.

J. Cole – Who Dat (prod. Elite & J. Cole)

Introducing the first single from J. Cole’s upcoming Roc Nation debut. Applaud the NMC‘s first lady miss info for liberating the CDQ of this track, that was played on Hot 97 just a short while ago. SHAKE UPDATE: Apparently this isn’t the final mix, so that would explain the low vocals, etc. Look for the explicit/master tomorrow some time folks. Enjoy the night.

Nickelus F – Follow Me (prod. Elite)

Nickel drops off this previously-unreleased cut produced by a familiar face…

“I first heard Elite on J. Cole’s ‘Heartache’ and I was really impressed. When I was in NY I had the chance to meet up with dude and it really worked well. We’ve done a bunch of joints together, and hopefully a lot more to come. This is not a Twitter song. It’s about guiding the audience to something with more substance and meaning”.

Season Premiere drops out of the sky in May.
