On May 17th, Murs and LACMA (in collaboration with Cashmere Agency and Guerilla Union) will be kickstarting their first-ever hip hop concert series, Through The Mic: LACMA X Hip Hop, with a special reunion performance by 3 Melancholy Gypsys (Murs x Eligh x Scarub). Through the Mic: LACMA X Hip Hop, the first museum hip hop concert series of its kind, will explore contemporary Los Angeles hip hop music from May through October 2012. Co-curated by LACMA and hip hop artist Murs, concerts will take place on the third Thursday of every month, and will feature emerging and experimental L.A.-based hip hop artists.

While on the road for the How the Grouch Stole Christmas Tour, Zion I, The Grouch, Eligh and Evidence whipped up something dope for the fans.

The response has been overwhelming and we just wanted to give the people a little gift for the holidays. Amp Live of Zion I made the beat and the song was complete when Evidence recorded his verse backstage at the Fox Theatre in Boulder Colorado.
