Above is part 1/3 of Ruste Juxx’ show at SOBs, in which he performs Vic Flair. Below is another joint off the upcoming Sean Price Presents Ruste Juxx’ Indestructible, which drops October 28th on Duck Down Records.
With Buckshot’s health returning after spending 8 days hospitalized; the release of Heltah Skeltah’s ‘D.I.R.T.’ and DJ Revolution’s ‘King Of The Decks’ (on Duck Down Records), he’s got good reason to celebrate. Reporters caught him outside the hospital with the Duck Down Man moments after being discharged. In all seriousness, I speak for both myself and Meka in saying that we are glad to see that Buckshot is ok! MEKA UPDATE: Duck Down > everything else you love in life.
So here’s something nice for youse all in the New York area. Noah and Dru Ha have commissioned yours truly to hold a contest, where the lucky winner will win tickets to a dope show featuring Boot Camp Clik Members Black Moon and Smif-N-Wessun backed by a live band (click the above picture for the flyer). All you have to do? Snatch that flyer above, use this link right here, post them both together all over the Internets and send me (Meka) the proof. The one who get the most placements using the flyer and ticket link wins not only free ticket, but also the chance to meet the crew at the show. Sounds like a fair tradeoff, no?
In preparation for a busy Fall, Duck Down Records is offering up a free mixtape, hosted by DJ Revolution. Featuring the likes of 9th Wonder & Buckshot, Kidz int he Hall, Ruste Juxx, Heltah Skeltah, DJ Rev and more.
Man, today has been insane. In all honesty, I haven’t stopped for any kind of break since I awoke hours upon hours ago. I need to get some breakfast or something. Whatever though, let’s keep it moving! Here goes the Duck Down Records debut from B-Real. Smoke N Mirrors in stores January 27!

Ah man. Duck Down is on one lately! Charles Manson? IT? Hannibal Lector? Creepy shit. The official video is being done up by Rik Cordero so you already know what to expect. D.I.R.T. in stores September 30th!
Sean Price and Rock are readying their long overdue album, Da Incredible Rap Team, for a September 30th release on Duck Down Records. Production from the likes of Khrysis, Marco Polo, Evidence, ILL MIND, Black Milk, and more while they keep the guest spots to fellow Duck Down artists: Buckshot, Smif N Wessun, Ruste Juxx and The Representativz, Ruck and Rock stuck to their proven formula and sound…
We didn’t try and get cute with this album and pick some ‘out da box’ beats and get on some philosophy shit. We did what we knew best and that was rhyme about the street, while of course infusing the humor that you know you’re going to get when you listen to our rhymes. - Sean Price
When it comes to Duck Down, it’s always best to let their description do the talking: When you’re on a dirt path in the middle of UTAH getting passed by garbage trucks, it can seem all too much like a scene out of “The Hills Have Eyes.” Luckily Sean Price and his two Jewish Road Managers made it back to Brooklyn, NY safely, where Sean Price could complete the new Heltah Skeltah album “D.I.R.T.” in stores September 30th on Duck Down Records. I.Cant.Wait.
Hell yes! I ran through the NMC to check if I missed anything and saw that eskay posted this nice little update on Sean Price. From the upcoming Heltah Skeltah album (D.I.R.T. (Da Incredible Rap Team)), September 30th) to his upcoming solo venture (Mic Tyson) and mixtape (Kembo Price: The Undercard); Price stays busy and Shake will never complain
If you haven’t copped 9th Wonder & Buckshot’s The Formula, you are sleeping hardcore. Check out their third video which features a 3-D animation piece, directed by Bill Green and Antman.
I’m about to leave this laptop for a few and get some pizza. But before that I’ll leave you with some dope footage of Kidz in the Hall, Boot Camp Clik and Slaine performing at the Knitting Factory in NYC.
