Last month DopeHouse Cinemas – a party series curated by the dopehouse and the good folks of BarrelhouseBKLYN – launched to an overwhelming success. While we are currently hard at work for the next installment, here is a recap of the inaugural event for those that missed it.

Citizens of New York: the dopehouse and the good folks of BarrelhouseBKLYN are launching the inaugural Dopehouse Cinemas party this Saturday (September 29th), and you (with a guest) have a chance to catch them for the low price of $Free.99. How to win? simple:
Enter your full, real name and legit email in the c-section down below where applicable (not in the comment itself, unless you want some random spam bot flooding your inbox for the next 50-11 years), and write “#DOPEHOUSECINEMAS” as your comment
and I’ll pick two persons out of the mix who has done both as the winners. It’s not that hard, right? New York residents/those who plan on being in Brooklyn at the day of the show enter only. Good luck.

During the summer I spent some time in Toronto, and if there is one thing I learned from being there (aside from the fact that they have some of the most beautiful women in the world, or, if you’re at the right place at the right time, Louie Rankin will turn a perfectly civil function into a goon fest) Canadians love to have fun. Hordes of people will cram themselves like sardines into a venue that will play everything from Wham! to Fozzie Bear and both men and women sweat, grind and Shabba Ranks Bogle the night away.
Oh, and their parties actually do resemble a Sean Paul video, but I digress.
I’ve been to various shindigs in both Los Angeles and New York City, and none of them have ever really harnessed the energy of a Canadian party. So, I’ve decided to take things into my own hands. I’ve teamed up with the good folks of BarrelhouseBKLYN, and starting next Saturday (September 29th) we’re launching our very own monthly party series: Dopehouse Cinemas. It’ll be a place where no musical genre is off limits, where couch-stomping is encouraged and, most importantly, it’ll be a place where both men and women can sweat away while they grind on each other’s respective pelvic regions (consensually, of course) and have a good time. We also have some surprises for the masses who’ll attend to.
So, stop Tweeting about about how much fun you’re having at a party, and actually have fun for a change. See y’all next Saturday.
Oh, and The Dopehouse makes its return at A3C. More information on that to come as well.
