What on earth could a Shake-N-Bake Edition mean? Well it’s a partnership myself and DJ Slimm have been fucking with for awhile. I’m Shake and he’s always Baked so it works out haha. You may have noticed the Talledega Nights sample in the Blu x Mainframe joint I dropped. Be on the lookout for a lot of projects between us soon enough. Starting with this… Slimm went in and put his own twist on the GZA album. The original tracks are there, you just get them in a podcast type formula with some dope mixing and a nice reorder of tracks, etc. Check it out and let us know what you think or what albums you would like done up! When my man Slimm sent me this remix I was skeptic because Nottz already laid a great canvas for one of my personal favorite joints from the LB crew. But after a listen I love how he slowed it down and basically flipped the whole vibe. Good shit. Get familiar with DJ Slimm as he’ll be handling the 2db West Coast mixtape as well. When my man and Vegas rep SeDrew Price told me he was dropping his new mixtape today I was a bit indifferent because I know all the internet cares about right now is the Nas leak haha. But then again 7/02 is Las Vegas area code so it works quite well. Whatever the case, nothing should stop you from copping this tape as well. SP puts in work and this tape shows it. Mixed by DJ Slimm (who will be doing the 2dopeboyz West Coast mixtape) and artwork by Shake (me). You gotta love it.
