Birdman was in London recently to officially set up shop in the UK. On the back of Jay Sean’s global success, Cash Money held a lavish launch party in a Bank. That’s right, a Bank in the middle of London’s financial district.

I caught up with Nas and Damian Marley at Rock the Bells in L.A. They talk about their forth-coming Distant Relatives project.

…..and more.The Nas footage isn’t the best, but that’s how it goes when you get 10 minutes with one of the hottest rappers in the game in his tour bus, 12 minutes before he hits the stage.
There wasn’t enough room on the tour bus for my camera crew.

I can try and describe what goes on the clip above, but Semtex sums it up the best…
Mickey Factz passed through my show on 1xtra and blacked out, hard. He kinda kills it, goes in, smacks it, etc. He sharpens his blade across Hip-Hop, Dubstep, and Funky House. Not many MC’s can do this. Seriously, aside from Asher Roth and a few others, very few people can actually freestyle live on air. Pre-written stuff is cool, etc. but you would be surprised at how many people ‘don’t feel well’, or ‘have a cold’, or ‘are tired’ when asked if they want to grab the mic.
That’s right… shots fired to all you lame rappers.
DJ Semtex chops it up with Murs at Rock the Bells (an hour after the Joe Budden x Raekwon fuckery went down).
This was a bit of a surreal moment. While interviewing Murs, Joe Budden and Crooked I walked back to their changing room with a ‘revised entourage’. Long Beach was definitely in the building. This took place an hour after the Rae vs Joe incident. At the time very few people at RTB knew what had happened, or what could have gone down. I think everyone was glad that they managed to resolve the situation. Oh, and Murs is funny as hell, he should have his own TV show.

Slaughter House tore up each date at the Rock The Bells tour. Backstage in Denver, they talk about:

Rock the Bells, Denver was probably the best show I’ve ever been too. The line up, the venue, the crowd, the sound system all helped to create an amazing night!
The Denver show took place at the Red Rocks Amphitheater which is basically a venue on top of a mountain. The view is spectacular, and i’ve never been to a show situated within a Mountain range
Because the venue is so high above sea level, it means that the air is a lot thinner than what you are used to. A lot of artists felt the pressure but it just meant that they put more into their performance
I caught up with most of the artists on the Rock The Bells tour, this is the first clip.
