DJ Revolution throws these monthly parties in Southern California where everything musical goes, and this past month he brought another dope spinner to the festivities. I definitely need to attend one when I’m back in Los Angeles this winter. Props to the homie Spintelect.
This interview is a little old, but still very much interesting none-the-less. The Wake Up Show affiliate DJ Revolution gets a brief history lesson behind the legendary D&D Studios (now known as HeadQCourterz) in which many of your favorite albums were recorded. We also get some insight on who HeadQCourterz really was, and the pivotal role he played in-house. Props to Crate Kings on the heads up.

The 231st entry of DJ Booth’s freestyle series comes courtesy of the DJ Revolution-cosigned duo. Malcolm & Martin’s debut, Life Doesn’t Frighten Me, is now available on Soulspazm Records.
The trio, fronted by DJ Revolution blends Boogie Down Production beats with their own politically charged rhymes and Rev’s signature cuts. Tracklist and link down bottom.
I know I’ve been slacking on this series but I promise it will be back to full force from here on out. I originally was gonna come in here with an Atmosphere joint but after a brief conversation with an old high school buddy I realized that there are still a ton of folks out there that have never heard this record! Taken off Sway & King Tech’s 1999 release, This Or That, with DJ Revolution. The bonus comes off the same album as well. Enjoy.
Now this is dope… and I’m not the onlyone who thinks so. Anyways, here goes the first official leak off DJ Revolution‘s upcoming Malcolm & Martin project — entitled Life Doesn’t Frighten Me — with Styliztik Jones and KB iMean. Click here for more information. And if you like what you hear, I’ve included a link to their latest mixtape as well.

You might recall a snippet of this that played at the beginning of Bekay’s Brooklyn Bridge video with Masta Ace. Now it’s time to unleash the CDQ version of the lead single off Hunger Pains, which drops on November 10th via Coalmine Records.
