Our OKP fam just premiered a new track off DJ JS-1′s upcoming album, Ground Original 2: No Sell Out, which drops June 23rd. With 21 tracks and nearly 40 artists (Chino XL, Brother Ali, Pharoahe Monch, Torae, eMC, Sean Price, Aesop Rock, Akrobatik, Sadat X, Copywrite, Rahzel, Blaq Poet, Canibus, etc), OG2 is bound to be one of my top albums of the year. Can’t wait!

It’s only been one day since I dropped the (incredibly dope) tracklist for DJ JS-1′s upcoming album, Ground Original 2: No Sell Out, and we’re already blessed with the first leak. Big shouts to Robbie! This is seriously gonna be one of my favorite albums of the year. With guest spots from Chino XL, Brother Ali, Pharoahe Monch, Torae, eMC, Sean Price, Aesop Rock and more; how can it not be!? And I figured since myself and Meka both recently mentioned the QN5 Mega Show that went down in Los Angeles last year, I’d post a picture from the event (DJ JS-1 and Tonedeff on stage).

As I’m sitting here, wanting the night to end but being forced to stay up for things beyond my control I come across the artwork, tracklist and information on DJ JS-1′s upcoming album. One look at the tracklist and I thought I was in heaven haha. Chino XL, Brother Ali, Pharoahe Monch, Torae, eMC, Sean Price, Aesop Rock, Copywrite & KRS-One are only a few of the artists involved with the 20 original tracks. Not only that, but JS-1 will be releasing a special .mp3 disc that contains the clean/explicit/instrumental/a capella of each record. How fresh is that?
