The final leak off RubyHornet‘s Closed Sessions Vol. 2 (which drops tomorrow), finds the Cool Kid and the Kids These Days front-man rocking over some Babu production. Check the song out below and hit the jump for a behind-the-scenes clip of it’s creation.

The third segment from the pending compilation Closed Sessions Vol. 2 (created by the Chicago-based hip-hop label of the same name with the help of MTV 2 Sucka Free) features the legendary Raekwon, who spit one of his more impressive verses in recent memorry when he visited the Windy City last fall.

On June 30th, the legendary Beat Junkies crew (made up of J. Rocc, Rhettmatic, Babu, Mr. Choc and more) are celebrating 20 years at The Echoplex in Los Angeles. Check the teaser clip up top and head down bottom for the event’s flyer which details the rest of the info.

This is a record that we (RubyHornet) recorded almost two years ago now when we did our very first Closed Session with DJ Babu. While we released the record “Bionic Jaws“, and the accompanying documentary (shown above), there was a second record that Babu made with ADaD that kind of got lost in the shuffle. So, with ADaD’s PS…I’m Next about to drop, our “Natural High” release party coming up with DJ Babu, and a pretty much done new Closed Sessions album featuring Raekwon, CyHi The Prynce, L.E.P., Blu, and more, it’s a great time to put out “Stay On Your Square”.

Man, I really gotta run more segments of this series. Anyways, while plunging through some old CDs RTC came across a super dope cipher between Rakaa, Evidence, Em and Aristotle. His words…

So, there are a few reasons why I’m posting this old Wake Up Show Freestlye today… Firstly, it’s just dope. Dilated Peoples and Eminem in the same cipher is Hip Hop history, especially given their small beef in the early 2000′s (SHAKE EDIT: Searching For Bobby Ficher is still one of the best disses towards Em to this day IMO). I also remember when I found this probably 12 or 13 years ago, and was just blown away by some of what Eminem was spitting. Listening to it now, and it’s still incredible. Also, Evidence has a new LP on the way, and we’re bring DJ Babu to town for Digital Freshness on 9/29. Not to be overlooked, Aristotle sshines here too. I’m not sure what happened to him, but he was bubbling on the underground for a minute. And did I mentioned Eminem goes off?
