With pre-orders now available* for their Niggaz Wit Latitude project, Deacon and Sheisty decided to let loose of the first single.
Here, DTV & Sheisty express a matter-of-fact perspective on privacy. In the age of Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare and all things transparent, just how much of our lives are public record in 2010? Deacon takes the first verse, rapping as the eye in the sky, and Sheisty brings it home speaking on how he’s well aware that our every move is under a microscope.
*The first 100 orders get an exclusive bonus disc… Live From the Swap Meet (Gangster Rap 101); mixed by The Record Vulture; and hosted by Sleazy D & Sheist Cube.

It’s not very often that we get new music from Tunji (happy bornday btw). So when it drops, you’ve gotta make sure to grab it and throw it on your iPod immediately. I’ve been bumping an unfinished version of this for a few weeks and have been waiting for that mastered shit. Finally Tunj comes through and hits me with the real deal. First single off his Still Rising EP. It’s a celebration bitches… the Lakers. The World Cup. Summer starts this weekend. Let’s get it!
The good folks over at QN5 just revealed their planned releases for the remainder of 2010. And I’d be lying if I said I was anything less than ecstatic. For those that are on mobiles and can’t quite check out the image, I’ve included the list after the jump.
Deacon, Natti and that bastard Kno drop some road stories that didn’t make the album and let you in on what to expect from the group in 2010. QN5 bitches! If you haven’t already, do yourself a favor and purchase both of CL’s albums from 2009. Strange Journey Volume One and Volume Two.
On the greatest day of the year (November 3rd), CunninLynguists will be unleashing volume two of their Strange Journey. Featuring the likes of Tonedeff, Substantial, Freddie Gibbs, Sean Price, Evidence, E-40, etc. Over the amazing production abilities of the criminally slept on KNO, J-Zone and Blue Sky Black Death. Hit the jump for the tracklist and check out Amazon for the snippets.
Even though this was supposed to drop last week I have gathered my thoughts and have forgiven Tunji for lying to me. Mostly because I knew the music was gonna be well worth the wait. Especially after hearing a few cuts before the release This is dope fucking music people! Featuring production from Kno (of CunninLynguists), Cook Classics, Adam Berg and Decapbeats; and guest spots from Deacon the Villain (of CunninLynguists) and Substantial (QN5!). Add that to the fact that the artwork is fresh as fuck. Shouts to BMAR on that tip. Don’t sleep, it’s INVERSE!
