While out in Kingston at the Bob Marley Museum, NaS builds with Stephen Marley about life, philosophy, his late father Robert Nesta Marley – and then proceeds to head to Tuff Gong Studios to cut a dubplate for Jah Army with brother Damian. Down bottom, Nas heads to Trenchtown for an intimate look into life in the ghettoes of Jamaica while shooting their video for Land of Promise. Rest In Power Dennis Brown and Bob Marley. Yesterday seemed to be the unofficial “middle of summer, events bonanza” here in New York, as there were about three events I could think of off the top of my head. Here was one such event, with Nas and Damian performing in Brooklyn. Props to THI.
