“Stadium Status” is a documentary which examines the rush of new sports stadiums in NYC as the latest example of an obscene national trend. New stadiums are built every year and the private businesses that own them benefit from huge sums of public money for their creation. Are we getting our money’s worth?
I keep telling folks that the new stadium being built for the Nets (the Nets of all teams) is going to lead to the utter dissolution of Brooklyn, but people just assume I’m speaking poppycock. Give it a few years, and you’ll see exactly what I mean.

A couple weeks ago I, alongside Oddisee, Dallas Penn, FWMJ, Chris Rabb, and Jason Reynolds, was on hand in Washington, DC for a panel put on by the Future of Music Coalition and Words Beats & Life, discussing everything from music, the social climate of the Internets and more. If you have the time (the thing is well over two hours), feel free to watch the whole thing. Part two down bottom.
Tanya Morgan is a rap group. Tanya Morgan is tired of your comparisons between them and A Tribe Called Quest. Tanya Morgan is honored that you see them in that light, but what about comparing them to some other rap groups like the Pharcyde or De La Soul? DonWill from Tanya Morgan was chill enough to give iHipHop a few minutes of his time while he promotes his latest project ‘Don Cusack In High Fidelity‘ a concept album based on the film ‘High Fidelity’ which starred John Cusack. DonWill gives us some insight into completing the project which started out as a concept EP and then developed into a full length album. DonWill, as one third of the rap group Tanya Morgan has been making headway with this solo indie project ever since he released the track and video titled ‘Laura’s Song’. It’s a bittersweet tale of love found and lost that ladies and fellas both relate to. Rap music that attracts ladies can still be sucker-free as long as its sincere. Cop Don Cusack In High Fidelity on iTunes.
