One of the members behind that run the Dips had in the earlier years of the Aughts links up with Dope Boy C and Chris, stepping behind the microphone for this 2011 edition of EPMD’s classic with LL Cool J. Side note: remember when they had to use a fake LL in the video?
Dope Boy C was one of the guests at the Smoker’s Club show last night here in New York, where he promptly stage dived into the crowd. Definitely one of the high points (no pun intended) of the night. Anyways, here’s a preview from Rome’s second mixtape, No Excuses, droping October 27th.
It’s not everyday you come across an artist like CurT@!n$. Musical talent aside, you can tell this guy has confidence in every word he says. Truly genuine from head to toe, his style translates directly to his lifestyle, which then is expressed through the music. His name is defined by being the end all be all to memorable moments, and when we met up with CurT@!n$ in North Hollywood, we really got a feel of him as an artist. – iR
