I need a new .gif; thesetwo are getting played out. Anyways, this is supposedly the OG jumpoff track to Cam’s album (the “sample wasn’t cleared…”), which, I will say, has grown on me over the past few spins. Side thought: we pretty much know that Cam’s a better Southern rapper than most Southern rappers themselves. Cam’s raps + Deeper Than Rap‘s beats = instant vintage.
New video from Killa! Cookies & Apple Juice & Silky (No Homo) get Tip Drill’d. Crime Pays in stores May 12th. All praises to the official unofficialfirst lady of the NewMusicCartel. A shot on me this weekend?
The hot summer might have come a few years after Cam promised, but it’s definitely heating up! May 12th, Crime Pays, hits stores. I haven’t had a chance to give the album a full listen just yet, but from what I heard, it’s pretty good stuff (for Killa). OS recently liberated the explicit/CDQ version of the video that leaked the other day. I also included a clean/webrip of another album cut for ya’ll listening pleasure.
The unofficial first female of NMC (and no, that doesn’t mean you saps can email with requests to join… no one in, no one out) comes through with the CDQ version of Cam’s latest joint off Crime Pays.
A double dose of Killa for the weekend. Above is a video for the jump off joint from Cam’s upcoming album, Crime Pays, dropping May 12th. I also included a bonus download for a radio rip from the album as well. Both courtesy of RapRadar.
I really wasn’t going to post this youtube clip and wait for the full song to drop (especially considering it has all kinds of INternets DJ screaming over it), but I figure since some heads were asking for some Killa why not.
May 5th marks the official return of Killa! As said before, Crime Pays has very little features giving Cam most of the spotlight. Hit the jump for the full artwork and official tracklist…
The other night Cam’ron sat down with DJ Drama for an interesting conversation on Aphilliates Radio. They talk about how every new joint we’ve heard wasn’t recorded before November (aka it’s all new material we’re jammin to), his recent conversation with Jim Jones, the possibility of a Cam’ron Gangsta Grillz, Chris Brown & Rihanna (who are back together?), Rick Ross & Curtis and more. Shouts to Dre & Miss Info for the audio. Also, if you haven’t already I highly suggest you check out the interview my man Jake Paine over at HipHopDX did with Killa. It’s by far one of the best interviews done in this rush of the “omg I talked to Cam” features.
