Jay-Z and Coldplay ring in 2013 with a New Year’s Eve concert at the Barclays Center and if missed the sold-out show, check out footage from last night above and a ton more and after the jump.

Jay-Z has just announced that he will ring in the new year with Coldplay (who are returning to the U.S. to play three final 2012 shows) at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn on New Year’s Eve. Tickets for the show are set to go on sale Saturday, November 17 at 10 a.m. EST at LiveNation.com.

Six Mylo Xyloto singles in, and this particular cut also doubles as an advertisement of the comic book The Full Story of Mylo Xyloto, which you can cop over at Coldplay’s e-home.

To help close out the Paralympic Ceremonies in London, Coldplay enlisted the help of good friends Jay-Z & Rihanna where they performed a couple of hits together. Up top, Jay recites a new verse over Coldplay’s Paradise (which has been Decoded over at Hov’s Life+Times website). While down bottom, Run This Town and We Found Love get their time. Coldplay took to the stages of SNL this Saturday to perform a couple songs off their new album, Mylo Xyloto out now. Spotted: Complex via Yardie.

Ah, Coldplay. If it weren’t for my cousin nearly a decade ago I’d never look to you when times get incredibly turbulent in my life. Like now. Mylo Xyloto, the band’s upcoming fifth studio album, is set to drop October 25th.
