The song also features a million others, but Chino is the only one worth mentioning (for me) as he killed it as usual (and I don’t understand the rest). But for those that are curious… Sinful (of Tha Mexakinz), Sporty Loco, Johnny Crooke & Victor Estilo (of Crooked Stilo), I-Man (of Tha Mexakinz), Seis, Arsenal & Vane (of La Sinfonia) & Cashmiro (of Tha Mexakinz) all share their rhymes. First single off the homie September 7th’s Western Hospitality 14. UPDATE: Added tagless version, courtesy of rimayrazon. And speaking of Chino, check the above clip as he’s Getting Drunk w/ Poison Pen (and Big Love’s Bill Paxton)
Thank you NY… I had a blast in my two nights out in the city! Unfortunately I’m off to Philly and back to Vegas now so I’ve got time for one post. And that post features the lyrical monster that is Chino XL joining the FEW on their latest Focus produced track. Shouts to my man Jonathan Hay.
Originally heard on Alchemist’s Chinatown Wars (Gangrene Mix) that featured a slew of dope emcees (Phat Kat, Royce Da 5’9″, Sean Price, Guilty Simpson, Evidence, etc). The record’s been getting heavy rotation on the Zune so I figured I’d showcase Chino’s verse on it’s own. Quit sleeping on Chino… or he’ll leave you dead like David Carradine.
While I sit on hold with my attorney (talk about the most fucked off hour of my life); I might as well post the most anticipated track (for me) off DJ JS-1′s new album, Ground Original 2: No Sell Out (out now).
I’ve got the world wild and mad…
because I took a valum and wrote Dr. Dre’s whole Detox album
If you’re a fan of Chino XL like I am, the title alone got you hype! The instant I read the title, I was ready for a lyrical onslaught by one of the best lyricists to ever touch the mic. And after 4 minutes, that is exactly what I got. No hooks, no singing, none of that shit… just bars! The tracks added bonus is the Focus production. Off Chino’s upcoming album, RICANstruction.
Finishing up my posts for the night, I’ve got the second single off the upcoming album, The Foundation, from German’s super producer Shuko. Yes… some (maybe most) have heard this, but for those that haven’t, enjoy. Hosted by Heltah Skeltah, mixed by DJ Dutchmaster; The Foundation features the artists on this track (of course) as well as Rakim, Papoose, Talib Kweli, Skyzoo, Torae, R.A. the Rugged Man and more. A dope mix of new, previously released and remixed joints. Look for that to drop April 14th on Coalmine records.
I never realized how big of a following that Tech N9ne actually has until he got on stage at Paid Dues. The sea of people were in a trance for this dude. I’ve been hit or miss with his stuff through out the years but I realize he has talent and can do what he needs to do on a record. Word is Crook has a few joints with him in the works. Here’s one that also features Chino XL (who I need to hear more from, asap!).

In part 3 of HipHopOfficial’s Hip Hop Rocks the Vote series; Young Jeezy, Chino XL & those Kidz in the Hall dudes talk voting. Shit is going down in less than a week! I hope everyone is doing their part and voting. I’m driving back to Vegas this weekend to do so (registered in Nevada).
The other day Crooked had a show with Chino XL & Sly Boogie that I should’ve been at but you know, being in Vegas at the moment hinders that. The show was a collab between One Nation Hip-Hop Summit & URB. Posted up in front of a .99 Cent store, URB catches up with Crook to talk The Block Obama and about the first time he felt heat from the hip hop police. Part 2 and 3 on their way soon.
Now I must say that I’m not posting this in support of Felli Fel. I’ve heard far too many stories about dude to respect him as anything. And personally I think he’s a fake ass West Coast DJ. Anyone else find it funny that he rarely shows support to any acts out there aside from The Game? And possibly G Malone (because of the Lil Wayne guest spots). And let’s not get into there being no West Coast artists on his last three singles for his upcoming album. Smh… This post is mostly being made because of the Chino XL feature. I also included a bonus joint that Chino blesses too.
The line up alone should have people wildin’ out for this one. Talk about dope emcee after dope emcee after dope emcee! The first single off Krohme’s upcoming (self produced) The Beats Released Volume 1: South of Heaven, dropping this October.
You didn’t think Shake ran out of exclusives did you? Shiiiiiet. Here goes a dope little joint off Chino XL’s upcoming album, The Secret. With Chino’s punchlines, a Bun B guest feature and a beat from Aftermath’s Focus… you really can’t go wrong. Shouts to my man Jonathan for hooking it up.
*waits for the fuckery blogs to post without giving credit even with a slight 2db tag haha. And what do you know, the fuckery blogs went and did a quick edit and took out the drops. SMH. You’ll never win bitches. Anyways, updated with the realNoTag version.
