Joe Scudda, King Mez, Tab-One and more make cameos in the latest set of visuals from Charlie Smarts’ LowBottomMe project. If you haven’t grabbed it yet, do so now. And while you’re at it, pick up Kooley High’s David Thompson as well.

BBAS meets Tanya Morgan meets Kooley High meets Recess/TheClubhouse. Definitely not mad at J57′s next single from his upcoming 2057 EP.

Not familiar with the North Carolina-based clothing company L.S.D., but this dope song features Mez, Smarts and Rapping Tay, four-and-half-mic honoree on it and that jacket is kinda dope.

Up top, a new video off Charlie’s Trident mixtape (out now). Down bottom, a new leak off his upcoming LowBottomME project (due out July 11th).

Out of no where (atleast to me), the Kooley High member drops off a new solo project. Rhyming over production from the likes Oddisee, Flying Lotus, Chromeo, Dam-Funk, James Pants and more. Seriously though… I actually had no prior knowledge of this dropping, but I’m damn sure it did. The NC rep can spit. Definitely looking forward to pushing play.

Off the UNC attendee’s upcoming Out of State Intuition project; dropping March 2nd.

The Raleigh, NC based hip hop band — consisting of Charlie Smarts & Tab-One (of Kooley High), A-did (vocal percussion), Bender (bass), Kyle Phelps (guitar) and DJ IllDigitz — drop some visuals for their rendition of Bob Marley’s I Shot the Sheriff. I also included a joint that Tab-One did with Lefty, Verbal Kent & Very over Cage’s Left It To Us. Check for that on the upcoming, Gangland v.4: American Nightmare.

Blame my damn (lack of) internet connection for not getting this up last night. My apologies for any Kooley High heads that have been waiting. And for all you not down with the Kooley High movement (yet), you need to step your ear game up and get with it!
