Joey hit Twitter earlier today to announce the title to his new project, B4da$$ (which is not a mixtape), slated to drop this Fall. On top of that announcement, he also made public that the late Pro-Era member Capital STEEZ will drop a posthumous project, King Capital this Summer. Nice.

By now many of you have heard about the unfortunate passing of a talented young man, Pro Era member Capital Steez. The Brooklyn native allegedly took his own life the night before Christmas Eve and his passing sent shockwaves through the hip hop industry as he seemed to be on the track to a bright future in music. One of the things that hurts the most is not knowing what could’ve been for this lyrical genius. Recently, footage of what is thought to be his last freestyle has surfaced with Wati, Racks, Steez and the Pro Era crew.

During ShowOff Radio on Shade45 tonight, Statik Selektah and Sammy Needlz dedicated 20+ minutes to Pro Era’s lost gem, Capital STEEZ.

In light of Capital STEEZ’s untimely passing, Rosenberg liberates an unreleased 20-minute recording of the Pro Era crew doing what they do. MTV also put up an unreleased clip of Capital STEEZ doing his thing in the streets of NY. Check that after the jump.

RIP Capital Steez. Young, talented and full of potential, you left us too soon.

The first time eye dropped AK, eye felt like eye buried a diamond in Prospect park & expected people to see it from the moon.
