It was billed as The Cool Kids and Camp Lo show at S.O.B.’s on Sunday night but Nice & Smooth made a surprise appearance that made everybody in there feel like they were back in the golden era of hip hop! They got the party LIVE and Greg Nice had some incredible things to say too!
You know what sucks? Camp Lo pretty much Illmatic-d themselves when they dropped Uptown Saturday Night over a decade ago, meaning that they set the bar so high for themselves on their first jumpoff that their future works will forever and inexplicably be compared to it.

Perennial hip-hop mainstays Camp Lo are releasing Stone And Rob: Caught On Tape on March 24th, a mixtape installment of all-new original material. Featuring 13 tracks all produced by Smoking Apples (Sonny Cheeba and Apple Juice Kid), Ski (known for work with Jay-Z and Camp Lo’s critically acclaimed debut Uptown Saturday Night), and Apple Juice Kid, Stone And Rob: Caught On Tape will be released on Camp Lo’s new label venture Soul Fever as the official precursor to the group’s much-anticipated 4th album A Piece Of The Action. The lead single “On Smash” feat. Styles P and Pete Rock is currently impacting on the web and at mixshow radio.
First single off Loud.com’s upcoming mixtape, Loud.com Presents… Get LOUD, hosted by Mr. Peter Parker. They’re looking for a December 12th release, but it may change. Looking at the line up I can say we’re in for a treat. Camp Lo f. Styles P & Pete Rock (included below), Freeway, Saigon, Grafh, Termanology, Skyzoo, Serius Jones, Rain, Emilio Rojas, Chaundon, Mickey Factz, Reef The Lost Cauze, The CunninLynguists and others are all confirmed to make appearances. As you know, the NMC are firm supporters of Camp Lo. And this track should have some indication on why that is so. Linking up with Styles P & Pete Rock for a remix to their OnSMASH record that was featured on the NMC EP.
