The Seattle homies Grynch and Budo have linked up for a new track that’s gonna see a limited release (500 hand numbered records to be exact) 12″ via Fin Records. On top of “Treadin’” the single’s B-Side will contain a Budo remix of Grynch’s “So Far” as well. Shouts to Potholes on the premiere.

As y’all know, I took my reclusive ass too Minnesota to check out one of my favorite festivals of the year, Soundset. Before I almost got blown away by some random freak tornado storm, I managed to snap off a few shots of some of the performers: Macklemore (up top), Danny Brown, Brother Ali (who hosted), Evidence, Grieves and Budo, Big K.R.I.T. and Kendrick Lamar. Hit the jump for the rest.

The video was shot in 24 hours in upstate NY. According to Grieves and Budo the formula for success was a combination of, “sleep deprivation + incredible direction + the most talented child actor I’ve ever seen.” This aggregation created, “a truly special thing filled with innocence, intrigue, and a window back into the part of childhood that we remember with joy and terror all at once.”
The duo are still on the road. Hit the jump for the remaining cities/dates of their headlining tour.

The South Florida rep will be releasing his new project, Beat a Dead Horse Til She Resurrects, next month.
