While Remy Banks (World’s Fair) and Bodega BAMZ (Tanboys) were out in Hollywood filming the video for “GLDCHN,” I dragged them out to East LA, took them to Guisados (well, they got there first so sadly we couldn’t enjoy Guisado’s delicious tacos in each other’s company) and had them explain the whole concept behind the movement “New New York.”
Scion AV held an open mic showcase at Public Assembly in Brooklyn with A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Bodega BAMZ, and Flatbush ZOMBiES on the bill. Footage from the entire show featuring performances of Rocky’s “Angels” and “Fashion Killa” as well as Ferg joining Bodega BAMZ for “Say Amen” after the jump.
