It’s always a good thing whenever I see a good, deserving hip hop artist during a major, non-coonery campaign.

Apparently this is Bobby’s first live performance of his new single. But didn’t he perform it at SOBs earlier? *shrugs… maybe that concert was after and OneNeckTwoChains was just quicker on the upload. Either way… it’s Bobby Ray.

Wait, is he still going by Bobby Ray, or did he change his name back to B.o.B? I’m so confused ©Young Buck. Anyways, up top is his interview with Invasion Radio; down bottom is the first single off his long-delayed, highly anticipated upcoming long-player, B.o.B Presents The Great Adventures of Bobby Ray. SHAKE EDIT: For those that want the artwork (for the single) click here. And for the record, I have a feeling this record is gonna be a hit! I’m glad the project I put together has helped (in whatever way) put a fire under Atlantic’s ass. And for the DJs out there, do your part and play this. The radio edit can be downloaded here.

Bobby Ray performs a track off his upcoming album (B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray, April 2010) for a live audience on the Mo’Nique Show. Tell me this dude doesn’t have the charisma (and talent) to be a superstar? One day, Bobby Ray is gonna take over. And I hope know it’s gonna be soon.
New single from Bobby Ray! Above is some footage of the studio session in which this track was created.

In Part 1 of our interview, B.o.B. sits down with Tineya and discusses his name change, how he fits in with Grand Hustle and being compared to Andre 3000. B.o.B. goes on to talk about the first song he ever remembered hearing and who were his influences musically growing up. He expands on the effects of T.I.’s incarceration on his own career, how he switches it up depending on what tour he’s in and how he made someone cry at a show. Performances are intercut between questions from his performance at the Highline Ballroom in NYC.
After his performance at the Highline Ballroom this weekend, Bobby Ray sat down with HipHopAtLunch to discuss the motivation behind his performances and what a few years in the hip hop have taught him. Hit the jump for a clip of him talking on the origin of his name as well as some performance footage.
