Considering I’m heading out to catch Atmosphere (for like the 20th time haha), Blueprint, Budo and Grieves at the House of Blues in a few hours; I figured I’d shed some light on this joint. The Orphanage is/was a loose collective that included Slug, Blueprint, Aesop Rock, Eyedea and Illogic. Sadly, the group never officially released any projects (and I think it’s safe to say that every single indie hip hop fan is still disappointed to this day). We did atleast get a few tracks/freestyles though. This one in particular can be found on Blueprint’s 2003 release, The Weightroom.
On September 8th, Atmosphere will be joined by Blueprint, Grieves, Budo and DJ Rare Groove as they jump start their To All My Friends Tour in Madison, WI. Hitting the road for a month long, 23 city adventure. Hit the jump for the dates/cities.
Greenhouse’s latest project drops today, featuring guest appearances from Toki Wright and Aesop Rock. All tracks produced by Blueprint. Tracklist and link down bottom.
New leak off the second installment of Blueprint and Illogic’s Electric Purgatory EP series; which drops July 24th with features from Toki Wright (obviously) and Aesop Rock.
A couple years back i released a freEP called Blueprint vs Funkadelic. It was something i did for fun in the studio and to kind of pay tribute to a band who i had recently rediscovered thru the wonders of vinyl. A lot of artists and producers do “mashups”, where they take existing vocals and put them over something else, but i try to do this series of record differently, by writing original material and not recycling rhymes. If you haven’t checked out Blueprint vs Funkadelic before please check it out and get ready for the next installment.
I’ve decided to do this again, but using music from The Who. Blueprint Who will be released sometime in February. The promo version will be free to download, and the deluxe version will come with a free poster, sticker, as well as the instrumentals. Stay tuned for more specific details.
In 2005 — during the time of 1988‘s release — Blueprint recorded this joint with Grayskul after his tour dates on the Scribble Jam Tour. Originally meant for Grayskul’s sophomore album Deadlivers, but didn’t make the cut. Shouts to Print on liberating this gem five years later!

When making the Illogic post below, I went to search for a link to this Greenhouse EP and didn’t find shit. Which is odd as I swear up and down that I posted it last month. *shrugs… Anyways, here goes the six-track offering from the incredibly dope duo of Print and Illogic. For those interested, you can grab a CD version at Weightless.net.
Another (2)dope track off Blueprint & Illogic’s upcoming free EP, Electric Purgatory pt.1, which drops tomorrow at Weightless.net. A deluxe CD version (with bonus instrumentals and a 11×17 poster) will also be shipping out on the 27th. Pre-order your copy now.
In preparation for the upcoming Greenhouse release (Electric Purgatory pt.1) on November 24th, Blueprint & Illogic participated in a question and answer session where questions were submitted by their fans, and titled it Greenhouse 101. We think it will explain a lot of the history and future of the Greenhouse crew.
This is easily one of my most anticipated projects in the months to come. Print & Illogic are fucking dope.
