Have you ever found yourself loyal to a fault? We can’t pick who we love, that shit just happens and Jorge has a lot of love for Stacks; they have history. But the fact of the matter is, Stacks has fucked up one too many times. Jorge has had the feeling that his best friend has been playing him on the low, is he right? Or just paranoid? As for Isabel, she is dealing with her own drama, having to go to the morgue to identify the body of her slain brother. Episode 11 “(2)Extacy”
What would a hip-hop drama be without a love scene? This week over RL’s original score, Jorge comes to grips with the fact that his best friend Stacks just may be playing him. Last week they were jacked for their bricks by a pair of dirty cops and while Jorge is still trying to work the angles and figure out what went wrong, he can’t get Isabel off of his mind. But is Isabel just a jump-off or is her connection to Jorge deeper than we think? I hope you guys have been listening, it may seem like we slowed down a bit, but there is a ton of shit going on if you pay attention. You’ll thank me in the end! Ya’ll already know what I never sold, but can our leaders say the same? I dropped this record in honor of one of the greatest hustlers that ever lived. Frank Lucas? Big Meech? Nah they ain’t have shit on Ronald Reagan. That motherfucker was responsible for bringing crack to the hood in the 80′s then turned around and had his wife lead the “war on drugs!!!” Ain’t that some shit? Way before Bush, it was Reagan who shaped my distrust for the U.S. Government.

Episode 10 “Intuition”
It’s that time of the week, hope ya’ll been paying attention. We’re onto our third week of this incredible series. Enough talking from Shake though…
I’ve learned that instinct is key for survival in almost any situation. Sadly, most of us ignore our intuition and go against that little voice inside; Jorge is no different. Rather than follow his gut, our main character relies on street code to guide him through and exhibits a tremendous amount of loyalty to his best friend Stacks (even when it isn’t warranted). In episode 9, Stacks proposed that him and Jorge sell their stolen bricks to his cousin. Jorge reluctantly agreed, but did he make a mistake? Should loyalty ever override instinct? Never Sold Crack: The Series is not only an audio gem, we also wanted to give ya’ll some stunning visuals to go with. Shout to photographer Andre Pitt (brilliant my dude, simply brilliant). Last week we had a pic of 2 bricks on the stove, this week we have 2 blunts; I guess we’re just 2 dope huh?!? In Episode 8 Jorge killed a man, this week he has to deal with the mental repercussions of becoming a murderer. Is this what Jorge’s parents envisioned for him? What effect will his actions have on his younger brother Lincoln? The reality is that Jorge can’t turn back, but does he even want to? “Bibles & Blunts” represents that life-changing crossroad that we all must pass through. Enjoy! – Cyph
