Wayne and Drake with a middle finger salute to Mannie Fresh?
Mannie, who recently offered his two cents to ‘Shit announcing the Big Tymers were returning with Lil Wayne and Drake instead), is reciting the hook to “Still Fly” and doing the Texas Two-Step in his grave… SHAKE UPDATE: I’m still shaking my at this whole situation. Not because of my obvious distaste for one Bryan Williams but for the simple fact you can’t just replace half a group and still hold onto the name. During today’s episode of RapFix Live, Sway got Mannie Fresh on Skype to speak on Shit’s plan of bringing the Big Tymers name back with Lil Wayne and Drake instead of himself. The response? There is no Big Tymers without Mannie Fresh.
Drake is a great artist. Wayne is a great artist. But they aren’t Big Tymers. It’s like doing a Jackson 5 album with Boyz II Men.
Pretty much my thoughts exactly, minus the whole “Wayne is a great artist” thing.

Replacing Lil Wayne (and his “Emmett Till” controversy) with his “daddy,” another rapper who got into some hot water over his lyrics and French Montana = the remix to Struggle Falsetto’s club banger. Props to DGB.

During the latest episode of MTV’s RapFixLive, Lil Wayne and ‘Shit chop it up with Sway about a variety of topics. One of the more interesting quotes came from Lil Wayne’s pops as he stated that Big Tymers now consists of Wayne, Drake and himself. I guess that clears this up, but umm… how is there gonna be anything Big Tymers-related without the man who basically made the group what it was, Mannie Fresh? *shrugs… hit the jump to check the clip and hit the c-section below and let us know your thoughts on the whole thing.
Live from South Beach, Lil Wayne and ‘Shit sit down with Sway to talk on a variety of topics. From Wayne’s health, Rick Ross’ controversial line, the infamous hand rub, the (new) Big Tymers, having no issues with Trick Daddy and more.
