Off the MPLS producer’s upcoming solo project, For My Mother, dropping October 2nd. Pre-orders available now.

The project came to fruition last year after Big Cats! received a grant from the American Composers Forum and the McKnight Foundation to make an instrumental Hip Hop/RnB album to honor his mother, who died from ovarian cancer in 2010. Wirth-Davis recounts the process from start to finish here. 75% of the proceeds from this record are being donated to the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance, in honor of Christi Wirth-Davis.
