The-Dream’s fifth studio LP, IV Play, is available to stream in its entirety for free courtesy of his VEVO channel. The 14-track LP, which features guest spots from Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Fabolous, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Big Sean, Pusha T, Kelly Rowland, and more, arrives in stores and online May 28. However, you can stream the entire album today after the jump.
Mrs. Carter returns with another female empowering anthem, produced by Timbaland, co-written by The-Dream. The song can be hear in her “Mirrors” commercial for Pepsi and will appear on her upcoming studio album.
Beyoncé and André 3000 cover Amy Winehouse’s 2007 classic, “Back To Black” on their collaboration of the same name off the upcoming The Great Gatsby official soundtrack out May 7. Hear a radio rip of the entire song below.
Earlier this week, crappy footage of Mrs. Carter performing her new single “Grown Woman” surfaced. Here’s a better more higher quality look of the full performance of the upcoming Timbaland-produced single.
Three Stacks and King B cover Amy Winehouse’s 2006 classic for the soundtack to The Great Gatsby… and I’ll be honest; I kinda wish they didn’t. Not that the two artists aren’t capable of doing a good cover song, but I just don’t like cover songs.
Well, I was half-right about B’s announcement: while the video she teased yesterday turned out to be a preview of a Timbaland-produced song, “Grown Woman,” the entire thing is just another Pepsi commercial. However, “Grown Woman” will drop in its entirety this Monday (April 8th) or, in Internets speed, much sooner than that.
The “Party” duo are linking back up. According to E! Online, the Queen B and 3 Stacks will be covering Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black” for a cut off (the Jay-Z-curated) soundtrack to the upcoming Baz Luhrman remake of The Great Gatsby. Any news that revolves around Dre being in the studio, is good news to me.
