For those wondering why there is no Charles Hamilton or Sha=Leik production, check the write up below…
If you constantly used the same producers for every a project, mixtape and/or album you will be dishing out the same project/same sound upon every release. That is why we wanted to provide you with production from new producers. Another reason is that, Charles Hamilton is currently working on his Interscope solo album and also working on his music career. Myself (Dimitri SaintVil) and Sha-Leik ThaEngineer are working on a “Harlem Project”. The Harlem Project production will consist of classic hip-hop, rap, and/or r&b songs samples that have been flipped to cater to the times. The Harlem Project will ultimately feature production from mostly Sha-Liek and including other producers. This project will include notable artist from Harlem and also include non-Harlemites as well on some records. If you would like to be apart of this project please contact SaintVil at isaintvil@gmail.com
Deal With No Deal drops July 8th. And check under the cut for behind-the-scene footage of Yung Nate’s Never Get Me.
We’ve already dropped two collabtracks off B/A & Yung Nate’s upcoming album, Deal With No Deal, dropping July 8th w/ 2DopeBoyz & SubConThreads. Now it’s time for a B/A solo cut (featuring Proven).
Here goes the second leak of B/A & Yung Nate’s upcoming project with your favorite dopeboyz on the internets and SubConThreads. On July 8th we will be dropping their collaborative album, Deal With No Deal, with a few goodies coming before. I’ve also included the artwork x tracklist after the jump…
On July 8th, the dopehouse (along with SubCon Threads) will be dropping a brand new project with B/A & Yung Nate, entitled Deal with No Deal. An album that depicts the struggles of the unsigned artist. And from what I’ve heard so far, this is gonna blow people away. Up until the release date we will be dropping new joints, videos and more. It’s definitely an adventure I advise ya’ll join in on.
During an era of “ringtone” rap, MySpace, YouTube, Twitter, hipsters and auto-tuned records; it has become an even greater struggle to gain exposure and airtime with the hopes of signing to a major label. Talented unsigned artists deal with rejecction from recording companies every day. But B/A and Yung Nate are not immune to this despite their affiliations with major label Interscope artist(s). Deal with No Deal provides insight on B/A and Yung Nate via their music and real life lyricism. Also, since they undergo different struggles as unsigned artist and in life; it is likewise they do not adapt to one solid genre of music. Its through a combination of style and originality they provide their own unique sound as seen in the 2DopeBoyz Intro, Ride Out (On it), MegaStar, and Never Get Me (the latter three being released in the weeks to come).
So I guess it’s safe to say. Everyone in the Demevolist Music Group suffers from the must have shitty artwork complex. Smfh… atleast this kid can spit. Not to mention a nice Pete Rock co-sign in the beginning.
With a self explanatory title, B/A’s first solo project is amongst one of the highly anticipated releases coming from Demevolist. Mixtapes are usually redundant with unrelated tracks. On Highway Music, you’ll find a diverse track listing with interconnecting themes and production that is as diverse as the track listing. Charles Hamilton, Woody, BlackTheBeast (“Aunt Jackie”) & Watch Out Productions are just a few of the producers who did their share of the production. The mixtape is best appreciated on a solo trip on the highway doing 14 above the speed limit; hence the title. It’s ideal to be alone because it is not music you should dance to or music to socialize along with. The meaning of the music resonates most while in contemplative solitude.
This Tuesday, Demevolist Music Group‘s B/A is dropping his first solo effort, Highway Music. With that said, here goes the first single; produced by Watch Out Productions. And since I didn’t get around to it on Friday, above is ep.4 of DemevolistTV Freestyle Friday series, featuring B/A going in.
