AWAR nabs The Alchemist for the first release from his upcoming Laws of Nature LP, due out August 7th. Production and features to include Jake One, Nottz, M-Phazes, Vanderslice, Murs, Stat Quo, Joe Budden and more.

This is the first offering from NYC representative AWAR’s Nature Of The Beast EP, with production from The Alchemist, Sid Roams, Vanderslice, Frank Dukes, Ayatollah and M-Phazes. Speaking of M-Phazes, here’s the track he produced.

The third (and final) track from iCON’s Headphone Classics series mainly features Awar.

While the previous two tracks in iCON’s Headphones Classics series were multi-layed, metaphorical stories, Sparks Fly serves as the essence of in-your-face braggadocio rap, with confident rhymes spewing aplenty. Vanderslice, who has previously produced for Sean Price, Jedi Mind Tricks and more, delivers the beat for the track, with sparse bass lines, connected by a dark, pulsing 80’s synth sample and a low-end drum pattern complimenting the emcees’ rhymes perfectly.
