The song is off A.R.M’s upcoming digital EP Two Africans and a Jew, set to be released at the end of March. The EP is a pre-cursor to the summer release of A.R.M’s full length Uprising which features Brother Ali and Tumi (of Tumi and the Volume, South Africa). A.R.M. consists of Mcs Krukid (Uganda/Vegas/IL) & M.anifest (Ghana/Minneapolis), with Budo (Seattle/Brooklyn) on production.

Earlier this month I changed gears and decided to switch up the What’s in the Tapedeck. Instead of a collection of tracks we missed and/or didn’t deserve their own posts, I will be compiling a mix of songs that I’m currently listening to. Ladies and gentlemen the producer for Felt 3 has been revealed! *drum roll… Aesop Rock! He wasn’t on my list of hopefuls but he will definitely do. I’m officially amped (as if I wasn’t before haha). We’re still in the dark as to who the record will be a tribute to though. Either way… huge shouts to RSE for the free gift. UPDATE: Nothing has been 100% confirmed but it looks like Felt 3 will be a tribute to Sarah Palin (shouts to broclee on the find). I’ve gotta say… I was hoping for Rosie Perez. *sad face.

One of my partner’s favorite artists took the stage in North Cackalack for a rabble-rousing (no seriously, the email said a brawl for it all broke out in the crowd) performance. “Yesterday” is up top, while “Modern Man’s Hustle” is down bottom. Props to Hannah.
