While down in Atlanta for the A3C Festival, Akomplice Clothing enlisted Chicago photographer trashhand to capture their 2012 Holiday collection in action. Read the break down below and hit the jump for the shots.
The story of the lookbook is told through the lens of every attendee, from the food vendors to the headlining performers, which include the likes of Slum Village, Devin The Dude, CunninLynguists, Rich The Kid, Mr. Invisible, Gerald Walker, Ducko Mcfli, K. Camp, and Dungeon Family member Slimm Calhoun, all shot and presented in this Winter ’12 lookbook. Branded staples such as 5-panels snap-backs, knits, jackets, varsitys, backpacks, tees, snap-backs, and bucket hats were supplied, worn and photographed in their natural element. Peruse the pics and see the collection personified on the backs, arms, and wrists of the musicians and crowd. The Akomplice holiday collection will release on their webstore. December 8th and will be available through their retailers worldwide next week.

Last month, Akomplice Clothing linked up with DOOM to release a mysterious box. Leaving the folks that purchased it in suspense until it hit their doorstep. Now, the contents are revealed (after the jump).
On June 8th DOOM and Akomplice Clothing are linking up for a “surprise” release.
DOOM and Akomplice have come together to release one of the most innovative and intriguing collabs of the year. The release is being kept a mystery, just like DOOM’s identity is. The project will only be available for purchase for a 1-day (24-hour) window on June 8th. The crate, which is nailed shut, features Ak / DOOM logos laser-inscribed on its lid and comes with a custom designed steel crowbar to pry open the mini crate. The project is available exclusively at the Akomplice online store. The contents of the box will not be revealed to those who have purchased it until delivered and opened. Knowing DOOM and Akomplice, this is sure to be an interesting surprise.
Similar to their collaboration with the Hieroglyphics crew (I need their jacket in my life), Akomplice is linking up with the Wu’s Masta Killa to release a t-shirt and pen collaboration as a part of their holiday collection…
Akomplice is proud to announce the release of “The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword” collaborative endeavor with Masta Killa of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. A follow up to their first Wu Project with Raekwon, this next-level piece emphasizes non-violence and the power our words can wield. From Charlamagne’s quill that composed the Magna Carta to Thomas Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence, there is no denying the everlasting impact of the pen to paper. A perfect example of the inherent truth behind the saying “The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword,” Masta Killa has traveled the globe and made a living demonstrating the strength of the written word. The collaboration includes both a t-shirt and a pen, and will be a limited one-time release, available worldwide at many fine Akomplice retailers. Be sure to check out Masta Killa’s “Things Just Ain’t The Same,” the first single off the upcoming album Loyalty is Royalty, releasing early next year. Click here to purchase the single on iTunes.
