The Texas duo is hard at work at their next project, Dive Hi Fly Lo, and this DJ Burn One-produced track serves as the latest offering.

The Dallas duo kicks off their 2013 with a new video for the latest single off their upcoming project DiveHiFlyLo (which is being described as a “darker and far more personal” effort compared to 2011′s When Pigs Fly), due out this Spring.

Something new from the Dallas-duo that will end up living on Austin DJ/producer Nick Nack’s upcoming album, State Machine.

“What’s interesting about this song,” notes Slim Gravy, “was that I had written my verse and the hook without even telling Paris the concept, and his verse ended up matching perfectly.” And that concept, according to Paris, is, “the weight of petty issues and people, and how they can shape your perspective on life in a given moment.” The gist of the song, a melancholy track built around Nick Nack’s slowed, guitar-laden beat, is summed up in one succinct bar from Paris’ verse, when he raps, “The success turned me to anti-social socialite.”

A.Dd+ – Sh*t Got Crazy

Before they join up with Black Milk as part of The Claps And Slaps Tour, the Dallas-based duo drop a new track for the masses.

The latest loosie from the Texas duo is produced by Blue of the Sore Losers and Picnic Tyme. It sounds different from what I’m used to hearing from them, but it knocks nonetheless.

Tunk – In Da Trunk f. A.Dd+

I personally admit I’ve been un-rightfully sleeping on A.Dd+. That is until I came up on their recent collab with Black Milk and vibed out to it for a day straight. I proceeded to download When Pigs Fly and now they have been dominating the iPod ever since. On the track below they link up with fellow Dallas emcee for the first single off his upcoming No Defeat EP, due out next month.

The Dallas duo is currently working on a new EP, and they’ve linked up with Black Milk for a few go-rounds. Here is one end result of those sessions.

A.Dd+ – Can’t Come Down

The song, based on a true story (“Shout out to Aegis Communications,” says Slim Gravy), tells the tale of young man battling his need for employment with his love for weed.

I know some of you mucklucks can relate to that.

Random note: Mister Cee is currently playing a vintage 50 Cent/G-Unit mix on Hot 97 right now, and he’s not played anything from Guess Who’s Back?. For shame, dog. Anyways, here’s something new from the Dallas mavericks.
