We posted the Tanya Morgan & Royce Da 5’9″ assisted joints, so it’s only right we come through with the entire project from the Jersey City representative.
Alright… so as I explained in the post a few scrolls down, the dopeboyz took a little break. Now it’s time for the resling. Above is Kanye’s apology to Taylor Swift for his bullshit stunt. And hit the jump for some music/videos that dropped during our time away.
Come take a look behind the scenes of the music video shoot for the song Air Born by The Kid Daytona featuring the legendary Bun B (and produced by 6th Sense). The shoot took place in New York City. On hand we had streetball star Africa and many other great people. The music video will be directed by Derek Pike of Three/21 Media. Music video coming soon. This behind the scenes was directed by Scorcheesie.
The Milkman’s Way Off the Wall Wednesdays series begins with an interview with SAB Radio (above) as well as the first leak off his Michael Jackson inspired project; which will feature the likes of 6th Sense, Fresh Daily, Black ELement, Jelani, Print and more.
This is a track off the Way Off The Wall project I have been working on for the past few months. Creating this song just showed me what a MONSTER 6th Sense is when it comes to work ethic. I was at home in NY right before I started my job in February, and 6th sent me a message that he was going to start writing to the beat. An hour later, he sent me a few lines, at which point I knew it was going to be crazy. A few hours later he sent me the finished track. WHAT? I know this track goes hard and hopefully you’ll all enjoy it; watch the video and be on the lookout for more. Shout outs to Black Element who convinced me to not just drop the instrumentals, but to forget about self-imposed deadlines and finish the project out consistent with my original vision.
The “Charlie Rose” of hip hop chops it up with the homie Outasight about the shelf life of being a new artist and the issue of race in hip hop. OU & 6th also play Guess That Muff. No, really. And if you haven’t already, grab From Here to There, as it comes highly recommended from my damn self. One of my favorite releases of the year so far.
OU and Shake’s favorite drinking partner sit down on the Press Play Show to talk about OU’s new single “Brand New Day” and “a bunch of other stuff.” Or so says the email.
While in the studio, OU & 6th give us a preview of Outasight’s new single, Brand New Day. And from the preview alone, I’m digging the hell out of it. The man’s definitely got a hit on his hands. Look for the download to hit the net on Monday.
