On Wednesday, November 5th, Camp Lo will debut six new tracks, one for each blog in the New Music Cartel. On that day, each site will reveal it’s own individual clue that will direct the listener to a specific point in that site’s particular song. The resulting six words answer the question: What does Lumdi mean?
The first person to email the correct sentence answering that question to camplonmc@gmail.com wins Cheeba and Suede’s jackets from the official Lumdi video, as well as autographed copies of Uptown Saturday Night and Let’s Do It Again. The clothes come from Camp Lo’s upcoming fashion line, and the aforementioned CD’s are extremely rare!
Reacquaint your ears with Camp Lo as they prepare their latest album, A Piece of The Action, at their MySpace page or their Loud.com page and drop them a line. In the meantime, expect more original music, remixes and videos for your viewing and listening pleasure. More Feddi!!

With the release of Fresh Rhymes & Videotape v.1 this past Tuesday on Decon, we’ve teamed up to give away a few items. People still like free shit right? I was planning to post this alot earlier, but you know … the move and all. Anyways, how about some CDs, DVDs & t-shirts? SHAKE: Where do I start? I remember when the idea was just that … an idea I pitched to Meka with no exact expectations. I wish I could remember some of the titles we were gonna run with. The Tapedeck, Paid in Full, Can We Live, etc. There were some great ones and some horrible ones. I’m glad we ran with 2dopeboyz, because it embodies exactly what we are haha. I never thought we’d be at where we are so quick. I remember when we hit that 1millie mark. Once we hit 2 millie so quick I knew it was a wrap. I have a bunch of shit to say and a bunch of people to thank but I’ve gotta continue packing. So just know I appreciate any and everything ya’ll do for us. Thanks for keeping in tune with the dopeboyz as we venture to take over the industry like we promised just one year ago.
MEKA: I can’t believe it’s been a year already. Hell, I didn’t even know what I’d be doing when I was approached with the idea last year. I am however eternally grateful for the opportunity I was given, and it has no doubt played a huge part in essentially every endeavor I’ve done in the past 366 (leap year, bidges). Many thanks to Shake for essentially taking a chance on an angry Black blogger (I ain’t mad no more like Skillz, though), and I thank everybody who has visited, commented, downloaded, talked shit, downloaded then talked shit, collaborated, all that good stuff. Here’s to another 12 months of delivering the goods this culture desperately needs, and be on the lookout for much bigger and better things in the future.
… Small Professor! Big ups to everyone that submitted their remixes. There we’re a lot of surprisingly dope versions and some expected wack ones. But I can speak for the dopeboyz & Meka and say that we we’re pleased with the results. And if it weren’t for my incredible talent at the art of forgetting shit, this would’ve been done awhile ago haha. Thanks for keeping faith Tor haha…

What would a hip-hop drama be without a love scene? This week over RL’s original score, Jorge comes to grips with the fact that his best friend Stacks just may be playing him. Last week they were jacked for their bricks by a pair of dirty cops and while Jorge is still trying to work the angles and figure out what went wrong, he can’t get Isabel off of his mind. But is Isabel just a jump-off or is her connection to Jorge deeper than we think? I hope you guys have been listening, it may seem like we slowed down a bit, but there is a ton of shit going on if you pay attention. You’ll thank me in the end!
