With his 2008ighties crew (Julian Malone, Fonz-E Mak and Johnny St. Cloud in particular) in tow, Calez tackles five classic cuts from 50 Cent and friends. Take a listen and download below and be sure to grab his 2DopeBoyz-presented Too Broke Tape if you haven’t already.

The 2008ighties member joins Midiori on the THEMpeople-produced cut from Murph Watkins’ upcoming Loose Women N Booze project.

Julian Malone – Fear [Snippet]

Just as I touch down in Chicago myself, the 2008ighties rep Julian Malone hits us with a snippet off his upcoming Diff.Rnt project (which needs to drop sooner than later, just sayin).

Calez – Too Broke Tape (Mixtape)

As promised, the Chicago spitkicker comes through with his latest project. And after the 3-4 listens I gave it last night? It’s leagues above Kid With Raps (and that was already dope as hell). With only two features coming from his fellow 2008ighties members UG and Julian Malone, Calez rocks over production from the likes of Hippie Sabotage, Herk Twist (who I think is gonna catch fire soon), Clams Casino, Sani and D Polo. Stream/download after the jump.

Sani (of 2008ighties) – Retrograde (Beat Tape)

Before Calez drops his incredibly dope TooBrokeTape later today, fellow 2008ighties member came through and hit us with his second beat tape (the first being, NCTRN). Hit the jump to stream/download.

Calez – Two Days

With just two days before he releases his Too Broke Tape (where’s my early listen nephew!?), the Chicago talent drops off another preview. 2008ighties!

Fonz-E Mak, U.G. & Calez – B.A.N.G.

To celebrate his birthday, Fonz-E Mak drops off a joint with his fellow 2008ighties members. A small taste until we get that BRKF$T CLUB project.

Fonz-E Mak & U.G. – It Was A Tuesday

For no other reason than that they can, the 2008ighties reps liberate an unreleased track recorded sometime last year.

Julian Malone – 909

The Stones Throw/2008ighties representative borrows A$AP Rocky’s “Bass” for the latest leak off his upcoming Diff.Rnt mixtape; which is now looking at a March release.
