According to TMZ, legendary singer Whitney Houston passed away this afternoon a rep for the singer told the Associated Press. The cause of death has yet to be determined. Story developing. UPDATE: A few celebrities check in on Twitter to express their thoughts on the loss of Whitney.

Folks looking forward to K.R.I.T.’s new project to drop on February 29th will have to wait a week longer as 4evaNaDay has been pushed back to March 5th. Blame #Cinematic.

Converse continues their Three Artists. One Song campaign (previous collabs included Matt & Kim, Soulja Boy and Andrew W.K. on I’m A Gonner, Santifold, Pharrell and Julian Casablancas on My Drive Thru and KiD CuDi, Rostam Batmanglij from Vampire Weekend and Best Coast on All Summer) by throwing Andre 3000, Gorillaz and James Murphy (former LCD Soundsystem frontman) in a pot and hoping for the best.

The homie Andrew reports that the second video from Jay and ‘Ye’s Watch The Throne will finally drop this Friday (February 10th). Some say it may be an original video, while others say it just may end up as performance footage from their tour stop in Southern California’s Staples Center. We’ll see what happens in roughly 48 hours. SHAKE UPDATE: Vevo confirms the video will be dropping this week. However the date is tomorrow and the time is 12pmEST. They also state the clip is gonna be “uncensored” which leads me to believe it’s gonna be live footage..

Before I passed out last night I saw a few mentions of Alori’s passing on Twitter and hoped that it was just my pre-sleep actions messing with me. Sadly, it wasn’t and the lovely voice heard on just about every TDE album to date passed away yesterday at the young age of 25.

I’m not going to pretend like I knew who Alori Joh was yesterday. I’m not going to pretend like I listened to her The Love Religion album from last November. But I will tell you that I’m terribly saddened by the news that she passed away today. Without even knowing who she was, I’ve been an Alori Joh fan. She was the 25-year-old singer heard on most TDE albums.
