Justin Timberlake & Jimmy Fallon Perform “History of Rap” pt.5

It’s been five full days since Jimmy Fallon has taken over the Tonight Show, which also moved back home to New York City after 40 years on the Left Side, and it seems Fallon is fitting in just fine and not losing his stride.

Friday evening’s episode featured Fallon’s BFF, Justin Timberlake as the featured guest, and following tradition, the two brought back the “History of Rap” (part 5) where they power through classics like LL Cool J’s “I’m Bad,” Salt N’ Peppa’s “What a Man,” NWA’s “Straight Outta Compton,” OutKast’s “So Fresh, So Clean” and more. Check it out up top.

Below, Brian Williams and Lester Holt “rap” to the “rhythm of the boogie, the beat.” Well, sort of. With some very clever and damn near perfect editing, Brian Williams and Lester Holt sound bites are stitched together to rap to Sugarhill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight.” The best part? Kathie Lee’s “Say What?!”
