T.I. On Helping End Rick Ross/Jeezy Beef

blame it on Shake February 12, 2014

Last week, Rick Ross and Jeezy made headlines by squashing their “beef” and collaborating on the Mike WiLL Made It-produced “War Ready.” Shortly after, reports started to spread that T.I. was one of the main reasons the two heavyweights dropped the bullshit and got in the studio. Speaking with MTV, Tip had the following to say about the situation.

I ain’t gonna say I brokered peace and got them in the studio, I simply said to one of my closest partners in the game — Young Jeezy — I simply said to him, ‘We done did as much as we can do with this. It’s gone as far as we can take it, ain’t nothing else to do.

If it ain’t nothing that can’t be talked about, that hasn’t gone so far that a motherfucka can’t come back and do what the fuck we do man, get money. War costs money.

Young ain’t the type of motherfucka you can just tell what to do, but if you can present something that makes more sense then what he had, go on, he will give you the opportunity to make it make sense to him. And I think the same for Ross. They exhausted all of their other possible opportunities.

Mastermind, Rick Ross’ upcoming studio album, is due out March 4th.
