Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell & Janelle Monáe to Perform at NBA All-Star Weekend 2014

NBA All-Star Weekend 2014 is set to go down in New Orleans next weekend and the list of performers have been released. According to NBA.com, Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monáe have been tapped to hit the stage at one point during the three day event.

Pharrell, who recently took home four Grammy Awards and will be performing at the Oscars, will take the stage on February 16th at the Smoothie King Center to help open the game and perform during the player introductions. Which will be followed by Grammy Award-winning singer/guitarist Gary Clark Jr. performing the U.S. National Anthem.

Janelle Monáe will join NO native Tromobone Shorty and his band Orleans Avenue, Dr. John, Gary Clark Jr. and Earth, Wind & Fire at halftime for a New Orleans-influenced jam session.

Last but not least, Kendrick Lamar, who will be headlining Saturday night, with a performance prior to the Sprite Slam Dunk contest.
