Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Trailer)

While I am the least enthusiastic about sports here at the DopeHouse, one thing I and a lot of others look forward to during the Super Bowl are the trailers for upcoming movies. Today, just before kick off at Super Bowl XLVII, Disney/Marvel Studios aired the first televised advertisement for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, with Disney paying $4 million for the 30-second spot.

The film is a sequel to 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger and sees actor Chris Evans returning for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain America, along with an ensemble that includes Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Robert Redford, Emily VanCamp, Sebastian Stan and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be out in theaters, April 4, 2014.
