blame it on JES7 January 25, 2014

While the official 56th Annual Grammy Awards don’t go down until tomorrow (at the Staples Center in LA), Dr. Dre and Beats Music held their own “Grammys” last night which also served as the official launch of Dre & Jimmy Iovine’s new online music streaming service.

Among the guest/performers were Eminem, Nas, Method Man, Scarface, Ma$e, Busta Rhymes, Redman and Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony. Not only did the event include an ill line up of artists, those aforementioned artists also performed some of their classics (see the set list below). Up top, Eminem performed “Lose Yourself.” Below, Diddy & M-A-Dollar-Sign-E perform “Mo Money, Mo Problems” and “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down.”

Keep checking back with us as we will be doing our best to cover tomorrow’s Grammy Awards where Jay Z and Beyonce are expected to perform, along with Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons performing a mash-up of “m.A.A.d city” and “Radioactive.”
