Ill Bill releases one last leak off Howie Made Me Do It 3 which is available now on iTunes. The demo version of “My Uncle (Shoots Heroin)” features a much different beat than the version released officially on The Hour Of Reprisal, and frankly, I dig the demo version much more. In Bill’s words:
I made this beat at the beginning of ’07 and dropped these lyrics on it shortly after. Even though I ended up going a different direction with the album version of the song, I still dig this raw, spontaneous version. I actually forgot all about it til recently. I really gotta properly mix this at some point, but until then, enjoy this original rough mix which hasn’t been touched since the day I recorded it – ILL BILL
