I have to admit, when Twista announced his Back to the Basics EP I was hesitant to go along with the title. The cynical side of me kept saying it was just another ploy to recapture old fans. But after watching the above “Intro Freestyle” video? The Chi-town assassin has still got it! Shot in Chicago’s infamous “Terror Dome” where artists would go to battle back in the day, Twista flexes his lyrical mind and spits some heat for a solid two minutes.
Produced by The Legendary Traxster, “Intro Freestyle” will live on Twista’s Back to the Basics EP, due out December 10th.
