Much how he’s surprised fans in the past by bringing Stalley, Wale, and Rockie Fresh into the fold (let’s forget about the Teedra Moses incident for a second), Rick spoke to HHW while on the red carpet for last week’s BET Hip Hop Awards and said that MMG will announce their next signings in the very near future. Will it finally be Nipsey Hussle, who has worked with Rick on various occasions (including on his upcoming mixtape, Crenshaw) and has been rumored to be affiliated with MMG for months? Perhaps another crack at signing a singer? Or some random indie artist that fans will (likely) turn against, calling him/her a “sell-out” and other such nonsense? Time will tell.
