Reports have surfaced that Drake’s forthcoming third studio album will not be seeing its initial release date as planned. Retailers Best Buy and Amazon (as well as sales tracking site Hits Daily Double) are reporting that Nothing Was The Same will arrive on its new release date of September 24, a week following its original street date, September 17. Drake tweeted early Wednesday morning that he would be taking the stage at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this Sunday. Drake’s engineer Noah “40” Shebib also had a clever tweet which may pertain to the status on the album.
