Big K.R.I.T.’s “Rich Dad Poor Dad” (off his Live From the Underground album) is a deeply personal record. In the song, K.R.I.T. shares some of the many jewels his father dropped on him as a kid and how that shaped him as a man. For the video to the song, K.R.I.T. went even deeper. He took us on an inside journey to some of the most significant places in his hometown of Meridian, MS. We caught up with K.R.I.T. and he gave us a candid and detailed account of both the meaning of the song and the significance of each of the images featured in the video.
