Try saying that three times fast. Now Rocko chimes in on the backlash Blurred Tits has received because of his verse on Rocko's own single (which, ironically, Rocko had pulled in favor of a new verse from Wiz Khalifa).

Finally, Rick has apologized for the verse. Check down bottom for the official press release.

“Before I am an artist, I am a father, a son, and a brother to some of the most cherished women in the world. So for me to suggest in any way that harm and violation be brought to a woman is one of my biggest mistakes and regrets. As an artist, one of the most liberating things is being able to paint pictures with my words. But with that comes a great responsibility. And most recently, my choice of words was not only offensive, it does not reflect my true heart. And for this, I apologize. To every woman that has felt the sting of abuse, I apologize. I recognize that as an artist I have a voice and with that, the power of influence. To the young men who listen to my music, please know that using a substance to rob a woman of her right to make a choice is not only a crime, it’s wrong and I do not encourage it. To my fans, I also apologize if I have disappointed you. I can only hope that this sparks a healthy dialogue and that I can contribute to it.”

how does “Put molly all in her champagne, she aint even know it. I took her home and I enjoyed that, she aint even know it,” not sound like rape. fool

    • blak yute

Maybe you would understand if I drugged your mother till she's unconscious and phukk her lifeless body, you would find it different.

  • thinker

why does this dude have to apologize for people's perceptions? would people punish Warhol for what is perceived to be a man raping a woman? do sensitive people go and see a movie that is obviously going to display gore and violence?

its been said a million times before. This is discrimination against the man. people were waiting for this nigga to slip up and say something like that.

  • Killaaa

stfu rocko stop taking shit outta context fuck boi

    and looooooool at ross

  • marty mcfly

Appreciate the apology from Ross but for people that wanna jump up and defend Ross, where were you when the gangster disciples were threatening to murder him? When that situation was going on I was saying that the GDs were crossing the line and people wasn't jumping up to defend Ross then but now that women are offended and Reebok did what they did now people wanna defend Ross. Good thing Ross made a better apology and I can respect that.

  • marty mcfly

Furthermore go read Ross formal apology. This dude is talking about himself and he clearly is saying that YES he was wrong. Now are you defending Ross even after he accepts his own responsibility for his own words? You defending Ross harder then he's defending himself now? Just stop

  • thinker

he said he was wrong? I think I remember him saying that he doesn't condone rape. and who needs defense against a bunch faggot ass kids who claim GD and post a video on youtube? nobody took that shit seriously. Even Ross brushed it off. Ain't no checks being cut! if they were the ones that shot at him, he walked right out of that hospital and strolled the fucking city on his feet.
and whose defending? if simply stating what hes already been doing is defending than kill me. people tend to throw his actions out the window over personal beliefs and arguments. just reminding the ignorant in hopes that they'll take everything into consideration and trash whatever they think they know about somebody they OENO.

  • thinker

scratch my first sentence. didn't read the apology posted. was actually referring to his former apology.

  • marty mcfly

Ok man well whatever. I made that point to show another kinda selectivism. When I said that gangsters all across the country that threaten to kill Ross over some bullshit was an overreaction and was not a good thing for hip hop or anyone in general. I didnt see anybody take that same position but I did see alot of people saying that yeah Ross should be shot and killed. Now that this situation comes up it seems that people are upset with the women instead of Ross over his own words. I'll say this, we can agree to disagree and you dont have to change your position but again go look at Ross's opinion response to his own words. If you still feel strongly that Ross did nothing wrong then take that up with Ross on twitter. Seriously though when you have thousands of people coming forward to say those lyrics were wrong within like a week time spam maybe you should just agree that there is indeed a problem.

  • DBS

People need to stop getting offended over shit some dumb fucks say and if someone's ever done molly they'd know that it doesn't knock someone out so you could rape them without them knowing it so this whole mess makes all sorts of no fucking sense at all.

  • thinker

looked at the apology and I still stand by it. I understand people don't separate music from real life but its something people need to do. also, they need to chill out. its as if people actually think Ross is going to rape them and they scare themselves with that thought. These are the same thousands of people who had stupid ass topics trending like the Illuminati, voted bush into the house and gave Obama 4 more years. These same people who are still divided on racism, homosexuality and immigration. So when you suggest agreeing with these thousands against Ross, I get confused because I'd never run off a cliff if everybody in the world was doing it and agreeing with these thousands on a topic while I truly believe otherwise sounds illogical.
I can agree to disagree though.

  • thinker

plus how else is this guy gunna get back some good reputation? an apology is a must to these famous people. they all trynna bite the bullet and stay the good guy when they should be standing behind their work and showing these kids that being steadfast is a prized trait. Rocko is definitely not steadfast in his work. weak ass piece of shit

  • thinker

"Maybe you would understand if I drugged your mother till she’s unconscious and phukk her lifeless body, you would find it different."

heres one of those people who've had that picture in their mind and are scared of these lyrics. words only have as much power as you give them. and you give Ross so much power by thinking of dumb shit like that. chill out fag. Ross ain't raping your momma. she old and dusty anyway

  • xlrg

So Rocko explain to me why you took Ross off the song?I keep hearing "it was just a line" but as the sayin goes the pen is mightier than the sword. There were no cuss words in the lyric so what caused the uproar and controversy?Ross never clarified what the lyric meant, he side stepped it but everyone knows what he's saying..But what if he said he put GHB in her champagne? in 2013 any lyrics or comments about Cops/Gays/anything that hint towards rape against women or children
is gonna cause backlash ...Stick to rappin' bout Guns/money/selling kilos and pills/ and dont forget the bitches and hoes (you just can,t rape the bitches and hoes)...on to the next

  • jwiiii

whoever defends those lyrics is an idiot

  • http://www.facebook.com/AD1986 Armand.

Damn, niggas is really on it. I don't see y'all stepping up when rappers call women "bitches", or slappin' "hoes".

"Oh, but this is different, more serious. What if it was your mother?"

For you to even take it that far, and take it to heart like that, shows that you have nothing better to do. Because at the end of the day, all anyone is going to do is TALK SHIT. How many of you contribute to the fight against domestic violence or against rape? How many of you petition the release of ones charged with rape? It's a fucking lyric. This is the same guy that everyone calls "fraud", "an actor". So, if he is those things, why take it so serious?

No one really gives a shit until it personally affects you.
So, stop acting like you really give a damn.

  • DonnieGenesis

Molly is an upper though ...

  • marty mcfly

@Armand, I dont know why this is hard to understand. This topic revolves around the issue of rape. People have opinions on rappers using the words bitches and hoes in music and thats fine. I think using bitches and hoes in music is ok. People have a problem with violence in music, I think through all forms of culture and entertainment in general violence has been looked at as being cool because its starts out as being looked at in the context of "the good guy" using violence to beat up the bad guys when children are growing up then its glorified later on in life by almost everyone at some point. RAPE however is one of those things were 99% of people can agree that its not cool. You can ask ten people you know if that is cool or not and probably all ten will say hell no. Now you cant understand why its not a good look to accept that in hip hop? Or at least accept that anymore? You dont ever wanna see hip hop mature lyrically or something? Yes you can make side arguments and you can be angry at other people for saying something but just ask yourself and be honest with yourself. Is rape cool on any level period? Cause you say its just lyrics but really its reality just go find out how many times it happens in society. This is not hard to understand. This shit was specifically about whether TWO lines of a song were cool. Thats just two so no need to go any further then that. Its very very simple. Were those two lines cool? Clearly NO

  • chicagorilla

sooo where was the backlash when EM spits he lyrics of raping and kiling i absolutely think he might be crazy enough. and listen honestly MARTY if u every had drinks with a woman and she was not only drunk but wasnt of her right mind then u have committed rape yall kill me coming up with these miseducated beliefs. they said KOBE raped a woman i bet aint one muthafucka in the world burn a jersey didnt lose a deal with nike or anything so for this to be treated with such scrutiny is absolutely absurd. *listen to all the music of the 90's den call me with a list of rappers to prosecute u would be surprised*

  • marty mcfly

^^^ No i've never raped anyone so I dont know what your talking about. Now people are saying that if you dont think rape lyrics are cool then you must fight all acts of violence and fight against all violent lyrics. My response would be how is that even possible? How would it be possible to fight every violent act in america when thousands of violent acts happen every day and how would it be possible to fight every violent lyric of every rap song that was ever recorded and fight every violent rap song that comes when thousands come every few months? The reason why your making these ridiculous argument is because you know these particular lyrics weren't cool and it makes sense for people to be offended. If YOU yourself had lyrics about rape and then millions of people voiced their opinion about why rape is not cool then maybe you should just consider that maybe its not. And Again Em got more backlash then most rappers in his career so go find out what your talking about on that issue. Yes Kobe got backlash and yes rap music in the 90s got a mountain of backlash so again me saying rape isnt cool isn't some "miseducated belief" its something that most people would agree with me on. Only a complete idiot would still be saying other wise after reality has just shown you what im telling you. Now go read Ross apology again. Thats straight from the horses mouth and he's talking to YOU when he says "To the young men who listen to my music, please know that using a substance to rob a woman of her right to make a choice is not only a crime, it’s wrong and I do not encourage it." HELLO

  • marty mcfly

Ross - "So for me to suggest in any way that harm and violation be brought to a woman is one of my biggest mistakes and regrets." HELLO

Ross - "And most recently, my choice of words was not only offensive, it does not reflect my true heart. And for this, I apologize." HELLO

Ross - "To every woman that has felt the sting of abuse, I apologize. I recognize that as an artist I have a voice and with that, the power of influence." HELLO again

Ross - To my fans, I also apologize if I have disappointed you. This realization and apology came directly from the MC who wrote the damn rhyme himself after thousands of women were offended and potentially millions of fans were offended. END OF STORY
