Then it was the Drake and Common beef and then comes Drakes response to Sweet with Stay Scheming. Then Drake pops on No Lie with 2 Chainz, then he’s on Pop That with French, Then he’s on Amen with Meek, then he’s on a Aaliyah song that didnt really get poping but it did cause some controversy. Then he’s on Diced Pineapples, then Fuckin Problems and now its Poetic Justice and Started From The Bottom and then he gets best rap album at the grammys and not to mention Take Care is also a solid piece of work. My two cents. Kendrick had arguably the best ALBUM of the year period. It was critically acclaimed by all major mainstream outlets, blogs, and most importantly the people. Sales wise, he HAS sold more than everyone else on this list THIS YEAR. KL is a about 750k and climbing while his closet comp, 2 Chainz, sold like 550k. (Btw, 2 Chainz dropped in August, Kendrick in October). Add to that, Kendrick is a lyrical monster that could easily disseminate anyone on this list save Nas. So with that said. Folks should not be surprised with Kendrick taking a one or two spot.
