18. I am a fan of Kid Cudi because I respect the lane he has created for himself (that doesn’t involve him pretending to be a drug dealing murderer) and he did a couple songs with Ratatat. With that being said I can’t understand why anyone would have any trouble understanding the simple ass themes of his music. He is not deep, he is emotional. Some of the lame sh*t he says is on par with B.O.B., don’t lie to yourselves.

22. I hate half of the stuff posted on 2DB but I would never invest any amount of energy into bashing it or its fans for any reason. If you don’t like cudi stop posting. Its that simple. Promote what “you” love instead of bashing what you hate. If people followed this philosophy more they wouldn’t be seeing their least favorite rappers getting a million plus hits on youtube, twitter etc overnight. 29. meh, I used to be a huge cudi fan, his first album and mixtape ish was so dope. Since then, it seems like he can just release anything and the fanbase eats it up and calls him super dope, deep, and the best to do it. Maybe its because I don’t understand or that I’m no longer a cudi fan, but that happened somehow and call me oldschool, but I actually want some content. Cudi used to do the humming thing on his old ish too and it was dope, but you can’t spend a whole song humming… I guess I’ll just have to keep spinning his old stuff
