Jean Grae! Scarface! Freddie Gibbs! Tech N9ne! Holy… Makes me wish I lived in California so I could see it. Nothing like this happens in Texas, let a lone San Antonio.

Oh shit! It appears Paid Dues has slightly redeemed itself this year considering last year’s wack ass line up. Hopefully Rock the Bells could do the same.
I was sold at the sight of WC & Suga Free on the list but Scarface just takes the cake. Souls of Mischief and Mobb Deep too; especially since I missed both of them in Rock the Bells ’10 to keep my spot in the front at the main stage just to see Nas & AZ perform. And to my disappointment, they only performed Phone Tap & Life’s A Bitch.
I pray that they don’t make me choose one desired act over another due to the 3 stages. I also hope WC & Suga Free don’t attract ignorant gangsters to the venue just so they could start trouble in the crowd because someone accidentally touches their head when putting up their arms or because an individual won’t let them forcibly advance further to the front. Trust me it happens; I’ve experienced it.
At times I feel I’m the most liveliest fan in the crowd. Some acts seem to draw people who just don’t get into it and stand like zombies with no emotion. I have an idea for a rule that should be applied to events like this: If you’re in the front and aren’t waving your hands or bopping or singing along to the act YOU NEED TO GET YO’ ASS TO THE BACK OF THE CROWD!
I’m going to have so many blunts rolled and get nice and buzzed for this. I know P-Town will be in the house due to Suga Free.

Oh shit! Black Hippy, Immortal Technique, Talib Kweli, Eligh, Hopsin, Souls of Mischief, Vinnie Paz & Ill Bill, Joey Badass, Jean Grae…and Binary Star even? Definitely more than enough people for me to see at this thing. This may be my first trip to a Paid Dues festival.
